To add a new department, the Admin. should go into [Department] -> [Department structure] and click [Add department].
Input relevant information for the department created. As the system default setting requires an upper-level department linkage for every sub-department, the very first department should be linked to the Company as its upper-level department. Department heads could be added or edited later. (Setting up Department heads now will help the setup of the approval process.)
After that, the administrator will be able to view the company structure in [Department Organizational Chart] in [Department structure].
