Relation Widgets

• Related Record - Record between forms can be related
• Parent/Child Relation - Relate records within a form with Parent-Child relation
• Child Table - To be used as a table within forms
• Other Table Field - Copy data from other forms
• Summary Field - Summarise amounts from specified fields from Related Record table

Related Record

Record between forms can be related.

• Data source
  • Select data source from other forms 

• Related Record Quantity
  • Single: relate with single record
  • Multiple: relate with multiple record

• Display Format
  • Related data will be shown as Card or Pulldown menu 

• Table/ Card Display Setup
  • Choose information that will be displayed at the record
  • At most three fields will be shown in card

• Selection Mode
  • Choose data will be shown as table or card formats for selection
  • Only Card can be selected for Pulldown Display Format

• Table/Card Selection Setup
  • Choose information that will be shown for selecting records
  • Set a filter range, which records are allowed to be displayed

• Copy fields 
  • Copy Data to current table, users can choose which field to be copied

• Force copy
  • Yes: data will be automatically copied and overwrite for the Copy Fields
  • No: data will not be copy if the fields are filled

• Use Paging
  • The paging position can be set at top or to embedded
  • If multiple records will be related, the fields will be shown as tab

• Settings 
  • Allow selection of records: directly select records from related form
  • Allow create: allow users to create new record in related form
  • Allow relation cancellation: allow users to cancel the relations
  • Allow deletion: allow users to delete the related record in the associated form
  • Related view: current record will also be displayed in related form

• Two-way related
  • Records will be created in both forms
  • e.g. a product could be purchased by different customers, customers can choose from different products

Parent/Child Relation

Relate records within a form with Parent-Child relation.

Parent

• Display Format
  • Related data will be shown as Card or Pulldown menu 

• TCard Display Setup
  • Choose information that will be displayed at the record
  • At most three fields will be shown in card

  • Choose the mode that data will be shown during selection
  • Table or Card can be chosen for Card Display Format
  • Simple or Card can be chosen for Pulldown Display Format

• Table/Card Selection Setup
  • Choose information that will be shown for selecting records
  • Set a filter range, which records are allowed to be displayed

  • Copy Data to current record, users can choose which field to be copied

Child Table

To be used as a table within forms.

• Fields
  • Select widgets needed and edit the field properties
  • Fixed column: Freezes columns 
  • Non-fixed column: Non-freeze columns

• Use Paging
  • The paging position can be set at top or to embedded
  • If multiple records will be related, the fields will be shown as tab

Summary Field

Summarise amounts from specified fields from Related Record table.

  • Select a related record/ child table to get data from

• Summary Field
  • Select fields for summarise

• Filter Criteria
  • Set filters for the calculations

• Display Format
  • The result to be presented in number or percentage

• Unit
  • Set a unit for calculated results 

• Decimals
  • Set decimal place
  • Default decimal place will be 2
