[Self-service onboarding] Why future date is not available for the Admin. when handling self-service onboarding?

Normally, employment contract signing and onboarding registration will be done on the new joiner’s first day. If early onboarding registration is needed, [Employee to be onboarded] should be the case. That’s why a future date is not available when approving the employee’s self-service onboarding application. 


As shown below, in [Employee to be onboarded], future date is available in the field [Expected start date].

What should I do If I send an invite to an employee too early for the onboarding registration?


Example: Today is 2023/01/20. Jenson goes into the office today for employment contract signing and onboarding registration. His first day of work is on 2023/01/23.

Click [Details] on Jenson’s onboarding application record.

Select 2023/01/23 in [Expected start date] and fill in other info. 


On Jenson’s first day, click [confirm enrolment].

Click [Apply on-boarding] in [Employee state management]. The employee can then login by the email or phone no. that you binded.
